We are an independent research and development foundation and we investigate real-world problems, publish evidence-based findings, and build practical solutions from digital privacy tools to community platforms. Our work is driven by one belief: India’s next leap forward will come from investing in research, not just products.

Naachi Research and Innovation Foundation exists to close this gap one research initiative at a time. We don’t wait for problems to become crises. We study them, document them with verifiable evidence, and then build solutions that are grounded in what we’ve found.
What We Do
Our work follows a simple cycle: Research the problem, Publish the findings, Build the solution.
1. Research & Publish
We conduct rigorous, evidence-based research on problems that affect everyday Indians. Our methodology prioritises government and institutional data, peer-reviewed academic studies, and international frameworks. Every finding is cited, every claim is verifiable, and every paper is made publicly available. We believe research should not sit behind paywalls it should reach the people and organisations that need it.
Our scope is not limited to a single domain. Our research mandate extends to any area where evidence-based inquiry can drive meaningful change from education technology and MSME digitalisation to public health informatics and urban infrastructure.
2. Develop & Build
When our research identifies a problem that requires a practical solution, we build it. Not every research paper leads to a product some lead to policy recommendations, some to open-source tools, some to frameworks that other organisations can adopt. But when the evidence points to a gap that only a new product can fill, we develop it ourselves.
Our development approach is research-first. We don’t build products and then look for problems to solve. We document problems exhaustively and then decide whether building something is the right response. This is the opposite of how most technology companies operate, and we believe it leads to better outcomes.
3. Empower & Share
Research has value only when it reaches the people who can act on it. We make our findings publicly available, partner with educational institutions for talent development and internships, and collaborate with industry and government to translate insights into action. Our goal is not to hoard knowledge but to distribute it to policymakers, small business owners, educators, and technologists.
